Similar to other nations globally, Honduras had been on lockdown due to Covid-19, forcing hotels and restaurants to temporarily close their doors and putting pre-booked tours on holds, such as diving and snorkeling trips, and excursions to Mayan ruins.
Honduras has reopened its doors to travelers, the Government of Honduras has reported 88,425 confirmed cases of COVID-19 within its borders and 2,568 COVID-19 related deaths as of October 18, 2020.
The Honduran government announced the resumption of domestic flights on Monday, August 10, 2020, and international flights on Monday, August 17, 2020. Travelers should communicate directly with individual air carriers to confirm flight options. San Pedro Sula, Tegucigalpa, and Roatán international airports are operating.

Coming to Utila
International flights are flying into both from San Pedro Sula & Roatán.
If you fly into Roatán, the Utila Dream Ferry is running from Roatán to Utila every Saturday at 4:00 PM.
If you fly into San Pedro Sula, local airlines won’t resume operations until November (private plane charters available)
By land: we can arrange a shuttle from San Pedro airport to Utila dream ferry in la Ceiba (3.5 hrs) where the ferry runs daily to Utila.
